zip repair on MH boots

hello, i have two pairs of mountain horse boots which need zips repairing (grr!! That will teach me to leave them in the tack room wiht the mice!!). Our local saddleries are miles away, but i heard there ar email order places or something where you can get it done? Anyone know of any good ones??

I live fairly near but they do mail order. They don't advertise riding boots on their site but they have done two pairs for me and a couple for my husband too.

Very nice and much cheaper than mountain horse themselves.

if you can get them back to a Mountain Horse stockists, MH will actually replace them for you, with 'proper' MH zips..... costs about £30.

"proper mountain horse zips" are just YKK zips as used by just about every manufacturer.

I had my damaged zip repaired by Feet first and if I remember rightly it only cost about a tenner, when I had the zip replaced it was less than £30. About £20 from feet first, less again with an independant shoe repair place - not many of those can do zips in long boots though!

I had a pair of moutain horse boots years ago, the zip broke so i sent them back and I was sent a brand new pair!! I was chuffed mine were pretty worn out and then sent me new boots worth about £120
