Zips in Boots

I love my leather boots and they are in v.good condition but they are *^"$* to get off.

Does anyone know where I can get zips put into my boots properly without ruining them?

Get in touch with BestBoots. They often have a little ad in the H+H mag. Very good company who will do just about anything to your boots and do it well!

Your local cobbler should be able to do them for you.... our local ones did my OH's when he needed them done...

There is a semi-retired saddler near me who does jobs like this. He has replaced zips in tall boots, chopped a bit off the top off a pair that was skinning the backs of me knees and replaced the seat on my shooting stick.
