Zoltan (Zak) was barking outside so I went to get him in. No sign, frantic barking still. The little s*d has someone got next door and has scared himself so was barking madly at the poor neighbours through their back door (glass). He's going to be rehomed! Anyone got the number for springer rescue? 
Nice job for the morning, check the fencing, which for two years has held him in. Little s*d has just nicked my slippers.
