I'm hopefully taking on a little Syrian in the next few days. He's a rehome and comes with a cage, but I personally hate shop-bought hamster cages, as far as size is concerned and he really needs something larger ASAP.
I've kept hamsters on and off since childhood (most recently, I kept Robos until they all eventually passed away). It's been a while since I've had a Syrian and having made do with a homemade bin cage in the past (which I constantly had to modify and repair due to tiny little teeth
) I'm after something more robust.
Not sure if this will be allowed but does anyone have one available? I'm willing to organise and pay for a courier. I'd rather not pay £65 for one brand new and having searched eBay and the other ad sites, I've not managed to find any in the area.
