Zorse for loan anyone? Only £500 per month.

Loaning a zorse = playing with fire! Let's hope it ends up in very experienced hands, not many have the skills needed for this... Don't understand why a rescue would import this and not consider its long term future, it's only had 2 months in current home which isn't long enough to settle :-(

LMAO that the Donkey Sanctuary are advertising on their site it will be available to be seen through 2012, whilst trying to loan it out.

DWA licences arent difficult to get, and in most cases arent that expensive either. Where I live they are less than £200...

I think the hybrids at that centre were at now closed "THE EXTRAORDINARY EQUINE CENTRE" in Dorset.
Sort of a rare breeds centre/petting zoo for equines .....where they were/are crossing rare breeds.

Nah, I think I'll stick to making one when needed :D

Hello there,
Ive never posted on here before but I went to see this guy at the weekend.
As far as I am aware, this is the only Zorse in the UK. The Shetland cross Zebra in Cumbria is a zony (or a zetland).
They are looking for a long term loan home for him as he needs a home where he can be worked and used on a daily basis, He is very intelligent.
They are primarily a donkey rescue charity and concentrate on that area, so they have a choice.. Do they leave him in a field looking very pretty and being an excellent draw to bring people into the charity? Or do they find him a home where he can reach his potential and use his brain and his strength to achieve something?
He seemed lovely. Very friendly and the one girl rides him. The charity does excellent work and they explained they had not imported him themselves, but he was looking for a home from a collection in the UK who could no longer keep them so he has been passed about a bit.
I think people on here are all too quick to pounce on people and accuse them of acting in the wrong way, but can you imagine all the idiots that would want this animal if they hadnt put a high fee on him?
After seeing him for myself and chatting to the people who work there, i really think they are putting his needs first and trying to do the best for him.
I dont think they will loan him unless a perfect place comes along.Which is a shame - coz I would love him!!
:-)

Is he the one Extrordainary Equines imported just over a year ago and then advertised for sale just before Christmas,
Zuluforsale.jpg

so presumidly he was sold then?Must be one hell of a confused mule. They bond with their handler...but which handler? How about some consideration for the Zorse who did not ask to be born a rare equine,Equines are for life.......
