Ok - so I know he is set to stand at Hobgoblins this year and was really well received at the BEF futurity but was if any of you guys on here had seen him in the flesh/knew any more about him. I was interested in the Lupicor bloodline anyway and so if he is as nice as the hype says he is then he might be a good option for my mare as will Hobgoblins is where she is being inseminated anyway.

So any opinions/views gratefully received.
 
Hadnt heard he was going to Hobgoglins. He is in work and getting ready to go to the shb stallion grading later this month. Andrew Williams and his girlfriend Victoria are working very hard to get him looking right for the grading and his flat work is coming along well. Zubin was turned out at grass 24/7, close to is owner after the BEF and didnt come back to Cornwall until Christmas so it has been a bit of a struggle to get the condition on him, but he was at the stallion parade yesterday and it all seems to be falling into place!
 
I saw him on thursday, having a lesson, he was looking great, very impressed. We saw him at the futurity and he's filled out since then. My daughter had a lesson on her little mare straight after, if she'd been in season (horse not the daughter!) i think they may have had a little love tryst in the car park!
 
he really impressed me last year as a three year old but not so impressed this year, im sure hes only doing a.i. as andrew is aiming him for young horse classes
 
yeah he is doing AI from Hobgoblins but standing there for collections, eytc. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that he is set to be coming in there soon (B4 open day) in order to do some dummy training, etc.
 
very nice stallion i have 4 mares going to be inseminated by him this year, i reckon he won't be in this country long the dutch will want him, due to the death of lupicor.
 
do you think they will want him? im not so sure myself and even if they did i think that people would work pretty hard to kepp him in england
 
What sort of stamp is he? its hard to tell from his photos on the hobgoblins site. I want something leggy, with good bone, short coupled and not too heavy.

I'd tend to agree - there's already a cracking son of Lupicor in Holland that was champion at the KWPN stallion selections. He's v popular with the breeders and I'm not sure if there would be much demand for another.
 
my mare's are already booked in, for £500 stud fee i think its a great deal. I have spoken to the owner and he does not have many bookings left. He is more concerned that the horse is showjumping than used at stud. i also asked about the grading he said "i carnt see why he wont grade in this country he has taken time to mature but this is like most warmbloods" just thought i would let you all know
