Sorry to jump on the thread but does anyone know where I can get Cleantrax soak or similar in the UK? Horse is having recurring cracks despite great nutrition so thought it might be worthwhile ruling out any bacterial nasties! But can’t find any except on dodgy looking websites 😆

Looking into a 3.5tonne horsebox for me to travel my one horse (16.1hh 3/4 draught so I’d estimate 700kg) and max two passengers. Not sure how much tack, fuel etc would add to the load. Would 900kg be enough? Thanks!

I like to try to squeeze it into the boot under the parcel shelf so it’s hidden for if I stop at the supermarket on my way home is the only thing. Crate is a good shout though!

Brilliant! That makes sense! I think I just was picturing the old advice from “normal” short girths to get them close to the saddle pad to relieve pressure. Thank you all for saving me the faff of a return for no reason 😂

I second the Schimmel! It’s magic! She can go from caked in mud to actually semi-presentable without any water! I’m going to buy a second one because it also works wonders for a real deep scrub when bathing her too!
