Does anyone have one?
Been looking for a new girth and seen these for a (significantly) reduced price... but never seen/heard anything about them?
Any experiences?
It's either this or a prolite one!
Thanks all
I am looking to buy a new pair of long riding boots - the style with the laces on the front. I have had my Brogini field boots for 2 years and had to have them re-soled and now the zips have completely shot it.
Can anyone recommend me boots of this style which are comfortable, smart and last!!!
We have loads of them round here so we shoot them (air rifle)... They're very tasty BBQ'd if you want some cooking suggestions! We also have 2 whippets which love to chase and eat them... It's effectively free food after all!!!
As another size guide my horse is usually on bottom holes of a full sized bridle but is in the middle for everything in the standard horse sized micklem! Hope this helps
try nail varnish remover... if that doesn't work put some paint thinners on a rag and rub your hands in it and it will come off (this is not a preferred option as it can irritate sensitive skin)
At what temperature do you lot deem it too hot to ride? I don't ride at this time of day anyway as my horse despises any form of fly touching him but got me wondering when do people say it's just too hot? In countries like Spain they have temperatures like this most of the summer so must have to...
Just brought 2 of ours in because they get really bothered by the flies and were stood by the gate looking miserable!!! Other one is left out as he isn't at all bothered!
are you sure the reluctance is due to the bit and not a health issue? Have you had his teeth checked recently, or checked for mouth abscesses? Or it could be that he doesn't want to have the bridle put on because it hurts him to be ridden perhaps because of an ill fitting saddle or bad back?
I'm 16 and went from riding a 14.1 cob to a 16.2 warmblood. I have had no real problems but my horse is very sensible and I'm a confident rider. Im around 5ft8
Took 2 of our horses out in our horsebox for the first time at around 5:00PM yesterday to a lesson around 25 minutes drive away. By the time we'd got there both horses were sweating quite badly and were very hot.
The lorry has 3 windows in the horse area which were all open to allow air...
