Thanks. I have tried him bitless, albeit in a Dr Cooks style rather than a hackamore but I just didnt feel "safe"
I've been looking at the Cambridge "Magic" Snaffle, as well as the Neue Schule and Myler bits, does anyone have any thoughts on these?
I'm sure I've posted this before but I'm at my wits end so need to ask again.
My thoroughbred is so fussy about the bit and after 18 months I still can't find him a bit that he's comfortable with.
He's had the dentist out several times during the 18 months although he is booked to come out...
What's the D-D ring measurement? I have the dressage version, looking for the GP! Think mine is about 8" from D ring to D ring so if yours is please PM me :)
Its not about being perfect, its about putting the safety of your horse, you and the general public first. I can't believe people are defending the owners tbh.
Yes, I'm sure they are distraught, and desperately worried and I hope they find the pony soon, but that doesn't mean what they did...
Possibly a really stupid question, and I have the feeling I've asked it before, but would it be possible to get a saddle fitter out to measure my horse and tell me what brand of saddles will fit, so I can buy a cheap one on ebay, and then get the saddle fitter to come out again and check the fit...
