    my horse came in from the field with a tiny swelling to the back and very bottom of the leg. when i checked him the next day the vein that runs along the tendon bone had inflamed and he wasnt weight baring on it. if he tries to walk it is a struggle for him. i thought it may be a tendon injury...

    as you said i would say it is infected mud fever and if you would reccomend what you are using on the leg to someone else i would keep usong it for a couple of weeks and see how you go
