    When bringing in my mare last night i noticed she had a large circular swelling between her front legs. Its quite flat and round and covers the whole area between her two legs. Its quite wobbly and doesnt cause her any discomfort. Any ideas what it could be? She has another week or so to go...

    Little filly arrived last night!!!

    Mine and my mares first attempts at breeding have paid off. She had a little bay filly at 3.30am this morning. I was so proud of her, she didnt stress much and has took to being a mommy for the first time so well. Any ideas how to post piccies and ill put some up! x

    I noticed this morning my mare had started to drip a small amount of yellowy sticky looking liquid, which i believe is colostrum. Is this normal?     Semi flex saddles - any use, how much?

    i have a semi-flex working hunter saddle and absolutely love it. So do my horses and because of the flex it fits them both so i only need one saddle. Cost £1880.00 brand new but well worth it.     Google 'VT Cashbook' i believe its free to down load, it was last time i looked. we use it at work and its very straight forward and much easier to use than sage.

    the foaling alarm im looking to buy has a sweat based sensor and also has the back up of a sensor for when they lie in the foaling positon which can be turned off if you wanted to. ideally id have cctv but cant due to living just over a mile away, unless anyone knows a way round this?
