    Whereabouts in the country are you? We've just gone through planning for a manège. Our council was most interested in the drainage, construction, and even asked what colour the surface was going to be (rubber!!). We used a planning consultant.

    Always turn my boy out in my pjs first thing. I put the kettle on and by the time I'm back indoors it has boiled and the dogs have finished their breakfast. Always get dressed to muck out though.

    No children under16. No dogs ever, as they wind up my own dogs (who aren't allowed on the yard either as they are a menace too). No smoking on the yard. It's a quiet, relaxed adult environment and we work hard to keep it that way.
