Update on the difficult to mount young cob...

That's why I've taken her off the haylage I'm hoping a mix of both will be a start she refuses to eat hay normally so I'm hoping to wean her off mixing it

DIY livery with a toddler how...

She climbs out the back Carrier little cherub we had to abandon that. It's literally to put out she can muck out and do jobs so five mins max. Leaving in the stable would cause hysteria it has been suggested before and possibly tantruming in poo 🙈

DIY livery with a toddler how...

Glad others have made it work it would not only save me a small fortune but also be nice to spend the time with my horse I think one on one rather than lots of people handling would maybe speed up the leading issue. She's lovely on the way out but stressy coming in this may change at a smaller...

DIY livery with a toddler how...

The DVD player was to save my life on a long trip it's a 'special' treat so it might keep the peace. Mine has such a set of lungs if she kicks off I wouldn't wish that on anyone even through closed car doors 😂

DIY livery with a toddler how...

I think it's quite possible someone would and it's on a farm in a carpark and literally 30 meters if that. It's a small place with only a few liveries. Child can't get out of the car seat so hopefully the DVD would be a solution. Probably over thinking it all had a lot of grief about her being...

DIY livery with a toddler how...

Been on full for quite a while but apart from cost I go up everyday and end up doing half the jobs fetching in etc so seems silly and actually sad as it sounds enjoy doing the jobs and having it as I like it. My toddler is 2 1/2 in nursery all week so not a problem Monday to Friday but...

A challenging horse....Nearly killed me! Second opinion?

There could be so much going on here. Being unkeen to be ridden/ caught, not wanting to canter and the napping could be a physical problem potentially or at least partially one. Has the horse seen physio etc is its tack properly fitted? Clearly there is a lot going on and a probably time...

Keeping a horse at a competition venue vs cost of transport?

Thanks all will mention about turnout. There was a big show on yesterday and the horses were all out but definitely something to ask. We are so limited locally to either very basic no arena or very expensive full doesn't seem an awful lot in the middle. I would love to do mine but time just...

Keeping a horse at a competition venue vs cost of transport?

I need people my baby horse doesn't hack out alone and is very green so all the experiences for would fantastic for him i'm sure. I think il see if there is room for negotiation we might be able to haggle a bit the new place sounded quite flexible mine doesn't need a lot of hard feed or hay...

Keeping a horse at a competition venue vs cost of transport?

I do work full time but as I'm self employed I have a bit of flexibility during the day. I have no childcare other than school/ after school clubs so the being onsite appeals to save time getting to places. This is why I can't do evenings or weekends. I'm not happy where I am I help them out...

Loads to think about thanks guys. Glad I posted I hadn't thought of half of that. Guess I'm missing the social side of things too but I guess no one is going to be seine much when I am at the new place either ..
