mines 7 now, between 5 and 6 there was a massive change. He looks finished now, but who knows what this year will bring... Id guess at 7 though.

If your sliding about in it does it fit your horse properly? you can feel like your being pushed forward or backwards if the saddle doesnt fit.

I am very competitive though and like to get placed, and try to win. Its hard to explain really; if im on an experienced horse id go for it and want to win, but on a youngster 'winning' to me would be just getting round the test/course. Its all relevant i guess. you sound like me and my mum. I accidently upset her saying she doesnt like to ride any more. I guess life just takes over, i hope it doesnt happen to me.

My mothers TB used to share his feed with the donkey. He would get food in his mouth and put it on the floor for her. When donkey wasnt in he wouldnt put any on the floor so it was definately a deliberate action.
