^^^ Exactly this - don't let the buggars get you down, your horses are far more important & they'll need their mum happy :) Good luck with your lami guy - been there myself & know what it's like xx
Following with interest as currently in a very similar position! My girlie was shod in front Friday Am, wasn't keen on giving her off fore to the farrier & made it clear she wasn't too pleased - nothing major, but not like her.
kept in during the day as has been recovering from a ligament injury...
She seems to be doing really well on Equine America's Uls-Gard but in total honesty, I hadn't considered adding it to that feed, would make more sense! Currently it's added to her brekkie :)
Thanks for all your replies - I should have said that she has ad-lib hay when she's in, but if she isn't given a handful or so of chaff before being ridden she is extremely difficult & can become pretty, er, colourful, shall we say with her mid air acrobatics.
She is currently on Readigrass as...
As per title really, I have a 15.1hh nf mare who has suffered with gastric ulcers previously & we have been able to manage it following a short course of treatment (through the vets) and now through diet, exercise, supplement, stable management etc
My question - what do you offer yours before...
Hi!
Take a look at Comeytrowe - they have a great arena & there's help on hand there too. Or there's Badger Street livery however that is at the opposite end of town so depends where you'll be living :)
Hi!
I just thought I'd add our story too - my girl was diagnosed with KS 3 years ago at the grand old age of 4! Add to that bi-lateral hock spavins.....
We initially had her hocks injected, then later on (couple months) her back. This *did* make a difference however her xrays clearly showed the...
I've used it on my crazy chestnut mare for quiet some time now and it's great. Ring them for a chat, as the CCC starts as a core product & then, depending on your individual horse's needs you can - with their advice - adjust the level of magnesium where required.
It is a tad pricey for the...
I go up 1/4 size with the Verbindend & waterford loosering / baucher but I believe you stay at your usual size for the other bits & also the waterford pelham - not that you need that but you know what I mean! :)
Thanks for all your replies guys - I think I will stick with my gut instinct & get a large, like you say, much better that it's a little too big than t'other way around.
Now it's a case of finding one! Thanks again :)
Hello!!
I am on the hunt for a 'new' half pad & would like to get a Le Mieux. However, can anyone help with the sizing?
I recently tried a Medium half lined numnah under my 17" jump saddle but it was far too small, but a lot of people selling medium half pads reckon they are ok under 17"...
Thank you - what I was asking really as all new to me.
I have nothing against her registered name, I just really like the name she currently competes under! I am in regular contact with her breeder anyway and as my girl is almost day-glo orange in colour, I compete her under 'The Orange One'...
Hi,
As per title really, I own a reg NF mare (well a now over height NF mare!), who I currently compete under a different name than that on her Breed society passport at unaffiliated level.....
I would love to use this particular name for when (hopefully!) we go BE, so my question is, is...
