Thank you. I did 3 shoots for him (part time model) and he suggested he wanted to have a go. Never taken a photo of a horse before and he was panicking they were good enough!! He's a lovely guy to work with as well and Han was amazing, just shoved me out the way and posed
So it's been 6 years this year since I started loaning Han. We have gone from me being utterly terrified and not being able to get on to today - boxing up with a yard mate and cantering across the open fields of rivington, what an amazing day!
I am so, so proud. Schooling wise we are working...
Her funeral is on the 4th August at 12.45pm at Carleton crematorium if you knew her and wish to attend. Colourful or equestrian clothing
Or floral tributes to the coop funeral services, bispham road, blackpool
Exactly what she was. Add in an ability to make anyone laugh, a taste for outrageous clothes (and matchy, and horse names) and all the patience in the world
I sat last night thinking how, just how am I even typing this.
My whole FB newsfeed is filled with her, just as it should be. She gave me so much help, and had the best sense of humour. I'll remember her love of shiny and matchy matchy and her headband (said "totes amaze"!)
It doesn't feel real. I "only" met her probably 5 years ago but she was always...
Just looks SO much fun! I actually grinned all the way through that sales video, am not surprised you bought. Looking forward to updates (and I rarely post on here now so it's damn good for me to want to comment) ;)
I did an intro for my first few tests because I was a petrified rider who wasn't happy to canter. It wasn't that I was happily cantering at home, I wasn't
I guess when I get out next year people may see me as pot hunting (they have done before), because I was doing an intro test on a horse...
I hate Pilates/yoga but occasionally force myself to do a class! Spinning is my meditation time, I also lift weights, and do pole fitness maybe twice a week which is great for core, strength and flexibility
You've got sort of horwich/Rivi area but turnout in winter is like hens teeth
I used to stable (many many years ago) on a yard at smithills tea rooms, might be worth a drive up and ask around?
In a way I hate these threads. I weigh a lot. I also exercise a lot. So when people say "eat less, move more" I physically can't move any more than I already do. Am very conscious of which horses I get on, and I'm over the weight limit for the majority of riding schools
I have lost some weight...
She's been at Medium, I haven't been out at all on her this year. I do lose the forwardness a little in lateral movement definitely. Will see if other video uploads
I wrote a whole post and clicked X on the iPad
So we have been quietly working away at home and preparing for an Elementary test. Working on lateral movements, counter canter, and (as usual) my naughty left hand and habit of looking down. Had a huge surge of confidence recently, Han is...
