Good livery yards in Clackmannanshire, Stirling area.

I realise that this thread is quite old now but wondered if anyone has details for the livery yard in Dunning Glen. Have tried to pm Led but inbox is full.

    Rubbing - sheepskin?

The courtlea ones look lovely. Couldn't see prices. Look like they'd be quite expensive? I think showshine might make the area a bit slippery. The hkm ones look like they might do the trick. I prefer a more traditional looking numnah but horse's comfort comes first!

    Rubbing - sheepskin?

My sensitive, fully clipped horse is being rubbed where the saddle flaps lie against his sides. The rubbing is nowhere near his shoulders, withers or girth area - very definitely where the flexible part of the flaps lie against his sides. I had a saddle fitter check the fit of my saddle just...

Freejump stirrups - Pro or Lite?

Argh! Just noticed they're back up to full price at Ayr equestrian. Anyone know anywhere else that they might be a bit cheaper?

Freejump stirrups - Pro or Lite?

Thank you. That's interesting re issues with adults using the kids ones. I'm well within the weight limit but probably worth spending the extra on the pros for peace of mind.

Freejump stirrups - Pro or Lite?

Sorry, another freejump stirrup question..... A while back I sat on a friends horse who's tack included freejump stirrups. I loved them and after humming and hawing over the price for a while, I've decided to take the plunge. Question is: should I buy the Pros (i.e. the adult ones) or the...

    What Trailers would you recommend?

There's no doubt that ifor williams are the most popular and most likely to guarantee you a good resale value. They're built tough and to last. However, I was advised that it's also the only horse trailer on the market without 'avonride' suspension which apparently provides a much smoother...

New X Trail for towing Ifor Williams 403 ( Can ROG help?)

Should have said, I tow on a b+e licence so the GVW isn't an issue for me (as far as I understand it!).

New X Trail for towing Ifor Williams 403 ( Can ROG help?)

I have one! I didn't get it specifically for towing but I have towed with it. Generally, I love the car. Yes, the gear box is a bit agricultural and it lacks poke in the lower gears however once the turbo kicks in, it's pretty good. Apparently it's the turbo that allows it to still be...

    Potential event horse shopping

Wow! Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Have heard richard sheane generally doesn't have anything under 15k nowadays and unfortunately my budget doesn't stretch that far. Although I wish it did, he has some lovely horses on his website! Firefly - I had noticed bosanko had a few nice...

    Potential event horse shopping

I'm looking for a 3/4 year old to bring on to event with the aim of eventually competing to 1* level. It has to move well and have a decent jump. I don't mind how green. I've a reasonable but not huge budget. Have been to see a few but haven't seen anything that excites me (except for one that...
