This is one of the reasons I haven't bought anything from the range... I ride a little 14.2hh cob that couldn't pass for a police horse, I don't think I'd be fooling anyone lol!

Yeah I did mean to say half chaps. I end up calling them chaps for short, even though half chaps and chaps are different things!

Chaps do up at the side, gaiters do up at the back. Even though many think gaiters are leather and chaps are suede, you can get leather half chaps and suede gaiters. Chaps for casual riding, gaiters for competition.

I'm 5'7" and ride a 14.2hh cob - you'll be fine!

Jodhpurs, I wear them with both long and short boots and never seem to have any issues. I'm not a fan of the high waist on most breeches.

They're called ossicones and they're hard, they use them when fighting and as you saw can pack quite a punch!

I actually like them, but am a bit ashamed for saying so! Haha

Really enjoyed the programme, I always like a bit of Attenborough! The giraffe fight had me going "ow!" and "eek!" Brutal!

I'd only be annoyed that one nurse tells you one thing (pop back any time to get microchipped) only for another to tell you something different (actually you need an appointment).
