I did mine in June. Had four hours of training then straight into my test. The hardest part was remembering to drive "correctly" again! Eg hands on steering wheel, checking mirrors a lot etc.

I had a weekly wage at my last groom job, with the amount of hours I did I ended up on roughly £3.50 an hour. I do my job because I love it but I need to afford to live!

Yeah they are good. Some horses aren't so keen if the arm swivels out over them while you are washing but they soon get used to it.
