This will probably be very controversial but I teach a horse and/or a rider doing shoulder in for the first time, to the outside.
If I am on the left rein, I turn a little early from the corner so I am on an inner track and I ride shoulder in to the right. The fence then stops the horse falling...
Reading some of these comments I am not sure everyone is agreeing on who or what a coach is.
Teacher, trainer, instructor coach, to me they are all educators but they apply education in a different way. I would identify as a coach and/or trainer. I have ridden and trained to Grand Prix, my...
I can only comment from a dressage point of view which might not be helpful it you are jumping.
The first approach for me is fine for young horses or horses in the early part of their training to find their own balance and self carriage, ridden like it for too long can result in them being on...
Very unprofessional of PH. Criticising your peers on Facebook is not the way to deal with these things,
She has only shown part of the candidate feedback so as to show the assessor in a bad light. I bet if she had posted the full report there would have been a balance of positive and negative...
There is a special rosette for the highest placed BSG in each class so they are recognised and you can call yourself the Bronze Champion if that is what you want to do.
I think there are 106 classes at this show, if you split them into three sections there would be 318 classes with most classes...

Or if rider is hard of hearing I use my mobile, they have an ear piece in and phone me, works perfectly.
Anyone teaching on their own horse without a riding school license will not be covered by their insurance so be careful, better to go to a riding school that has schoolmasters.
It was a brilliant show, the organisers did a fantastic job. I really don't understand this constant winging from dressage riders, it sometimes seems like nothing is good enough for them, when organisers stop running dressage then they will really have something to moan about.
Well done for...
I see it as a good thing for BD. There are lots of Riding Clubs/Dressage Groups that have been running for years. Trailblazers also does a good job for unaffiliated Dressage.
The more there is for people to get started in Dressage and progress until they feel ready to join BD the better. All...
