    My mare Bonnie had an abscess in one of her front hoofs 10 days ago . Vet came and dug the pus out . She is now sound again been barefoot for two years and does well like this .But now she has a deep hole near the front of her hoof , which I'm worried will crack or a stone gets stuck in it out...

    What do you call slices of hay?

    I grow up in Bedfordshire in the 80's and always called it a biscuit and still do now I live on a farm in wales. My welsh farmer hubby nearly fell over laughing the first time I said it !

    Alfalfa causing behavior issues....

    Yes it sent my new mare from a calm, great in traffic ,to a spooky ,spinning car hater. Stopped the feed with alfalfa ,just fed only hay for a few days. Then as she is in light work, put her on Allen and Page Fast Fibre it has no Alfalfa or molasses in it and now back to how she was before .

    Yes I have this http://www.spookless.com. Found it helped my youngster. She was very spooky to noise played it on low volume to start and raised it over a few days worked a treat with her .

    Lol yes that is very true . When we got her she was only 12.1 and now a year later she is 13.1 and bum high again not sure when she will stop hope it is soon !

    Dentist

    Hi I have used fyrnwy for my mare . They were great she is only 3 and had to have a wolf teeth out so had to be sedated . I would use them again .
