Well that was hideous. The death grip on the head, her leg constantly moving (to spur?), the tight tucked in head and the disgusting way the leg dangles and looks broken
Have to wonder the "training" its had, looked about to run away at times...
WHY is this the aim?
That i never want to do it again, largely due to how financially crippling it is
Teenage me would never have believed it, but yes it really is possible to fall out of love with horses and horse owner ship
Dont miss it in the slightest
Exactly, i don't get why they cant just thank him for what hes done, and retire him. He'd make someone a lovely ROR, and he could parade at courses and it would have been a great example of doing right by the horse. All 3 falls (he also had a near capsize just before) could have been fatal they...
If its safe id work on getting him to hack alone, it must be so restrictive being tied to others
Then if you fancy company, you can go with others, but can also go under your own steam if you want to
If it/he are safe, I found getting off and leading for about 100m or so then getting back on...
I hope he gets to continue his retirement and can make a full recovery, but there must be plenty of people associated with racing, especially those involved with his career/owners, who could chip in a fair amount
Also while its good the money will be donated to charity if theres an excess not...
Ragdoll, they dont sense danger, which makes them very vulnerable its even in the contract my breeder gave me that they should be indoors
Can we see a photo of him?
If hes happy inside and has no instinct of danger (wondering if its the breed i think it is, if so add desirable into the mix) its unfair to try and make him an outdoor cat as it sounds like he will be massively at risk
Id only ever have inside cats again, too many risks out there such as cars...
They think its a fractured pelvis, know Ruby was saying it can cause important vessels to sever, plus presumably will be long time cross tied what other factors are there if thats what it is?
Who cares if he races again, just hope he can be saved for a nice retirement
The fact he could walk into the ambulance is hopefully a good sign, if it was out and out catastrophic he wouldn't have walked into it
Hopefully x rays etc dont reveal something terminal
Sir Gino was stunning unfortunately dont think its a good outcome, can only hope its a tendon thats fixable
Fair play to the commentator for being respectful for his tone
