So both of these were born at the sanctuary, so no scars of past abuse, and are young, but apparently wont ever be able to be ridden?

Why can't so many of them be ridden? As Marmalade said, they still need the same amount of maintenance as one you could at least go for a mooch on
Also theres a couple who could be backed, e.g Fig why haven't they done some basics with them to make them more attractive to people?
Some of the...
Honestly at this point it all needs banning. It leaves you questioning who actually are the good ones, if any
The fact TS put out that statement about how she was working with someone's (AM's) ex horses...
There's no controlling what goes on behind closed doors
What makes it even worse is...
Would be very interested to see who's decision it is to persist with him
Can you imagine the outcry if they try hurdles again and he's fatally injured?
Exactly, it's not worth the risk, I think NH can probably see it, but for all we know the owner is insisting on carrying on so NH's hands are tied. Jockeys also know the risk, but you're also putting whoever rides him at risk
As ive said previously, these falls aren't just unseasts, hes slammed...
Pretty sure i read somewhere NH had borrowed some of the new hurdles to practice with at home, so they cant even truly say its them. And even if it is them, they are at almost all courses now so hes at risk each time
Just retire him, hope the owner doesnt insist on keeping him going
Let's not forget he nearly came a cropper in his prep race before last year's Cheltenham as well, at the last hurdle
NH always comes across as someone who cares about his horses e.g. not running them if he doesn't feel the ground is suitable, despite the criticism he receives, however I guess...
Not sure, I was using Sky, as they had all the ITV races, plus another card or 2, I may also have been distracted by the F1 sprint starting, which was on the main TV (racing was on my phone)
I think they may have gone straight to him after the finish, pretty sure he said he hoped CH and TNL were ok
They've just shown Nicky's interview
Almost feels like the pressure is coming from the owner to keep going
Why does he need to run on the flat, he wont be running in g1s so feels like you are running him for the sake of it, in quality of races below what he's been in
Seen people suggest...
Yep no need to flog him on the flat, hes given them some big days, now time to do the right thing by him
Hes not going to be winning group ones on the flat, 8 is old for a flat horse
There's no need to run him for the sake of running him
Not sure what his owner is like in terms of doing the...
Sorry time to retire him, i thought hed broken a leg at first as looked in a dodgy position when he was on the floor
You've got away with it once, twice and now a 3rd time, you cant keep getting away with it, and its not like hes just unseating
What happened with the new lion? I had the...
Lucinda Russell seems to usually do well by her horses, and choose the right time to retire them, didnt see the racing today as out, but Ahoy's jumping is erm... dodgy! Feels like hurdles was the last roll of the dice
Hawick has done so much for them, would be sad to see them keep going when...
