Why the desperation to make her travel? If she's not settled in general riding/at home yet, you're then trying to make her travel potentially 2 days in a row.
Definitely cancel tomorrow.
I never even tried to travel mine because he was a massively Welsh stresshead and if id even got him on...
Well thats utterly disgusting and hideous, looks like its broken something
And dressage actively seems to want horses to look like they've broken a leg
How is this any different to the dancing bears and circus animals that were banned?
Surely he could do ROR or something why bring him back racing after 5 YEARS?? Why haven't they tried him with another activity in this time or a different yard where he wouldn't see the busyness of a race yard. These never usually end well when horses are sent back racing
Bit of an insult too...
4 strikes over the whip limit 🤬
Would love to see the whip banned, other than for safety

Obviously any dog is heavily weighted around the owner actually bothering to train it properly, however these massive breeds are so strong and powerful, they are at GREATER risk of causing harm, without then adding in the risk of them being owned by someone who WANTS to look like they can cause...
Could they bring in something that if the rear end touches the ground/the horse sits down, it has to pull up. I looked at eventing rules and shoulder and quarters both hitting the floor is classed as a fall
The way they sometimes lose their back end on landing, how can it be known nothing has...
The owner is hardly the nicest person, the fact his rep was so quick to come out and defend the jockey, no comment to acknowledge how brave and genuine the horse speaks volumes
Look at Mr Vango, the trainer generally comes across as quite horse centric as a smaller yard, but is already hoping...

Agree it looked like hed fallen out of love with it, but feels like they've been desperate to run him in the national for ages unfortunately
Hopefully he will be fine and can now have a lovely retirement
Seeing Hewick continue to be flogged isnt nice either
As I've said either on this thread or the one about Gold Dancer specifically, is what makes it even more unsavoury is the fact PT is so experienced. Hes ridden so many horses and won multiple big races. Yes it wouldn't have made it any better if it was a brand new apprentice or amateur but hes...
Urgh Mr Vango is being assessed in the stables, they hadn't mentioned him as a concern til now
Quai de Bourbon also being assessed
So not necessarily all fine
"One of the best riders weve seen" apparently 😬 i think thats what makes the comment about he couldn't have known the horse was injured so hollow, BECAUSE hes so experienced and won almost all there is to win
Nothing on Mr Vango? He looked really bad in front when he got up, although had moved onto the road the 2nd time round as was looking for him
Non horsey husband noticed the same about QDB that it looked like he was trodden on
