Would you be put off viewing a potential competition horse because its not clipped?

Thank you for the replies and restoring my faith in human kind! I thought I was maybe going mad or was just plain weird as it would not bother me and I would just look past the hair as all of you have said. She has bags of talent and scope, surely people can see this and if not they arent really...

Would you be put off viewing a potential competition horse because its not clipped?

Hi, My mare is going to go up for sale in the next week of so, she is a mare bred for eventing but has the attitude and scope to do anything. She is as yet un-competed due to my work commitments. She's rising 6 and was broken as a 5 year old due to being late to mature. I have turned her away...

What to expect from sales livery?

Sounds the whole point in sending the on sales livery but have heard some yards still expect the owner to do the phone answering and viewing's! One of my reasons for her being on sales livery is I just dont have the time. So am pleased to hear that.

What to expect from sales livery?

Hi, Am looking at the prospect of sending my mare of to sales livery rather than do the selling myself. But I have some query's would you expect the yard to deal with the phone calls, but obivously advertised by me, as they would now know her schooling wise. Do all the dealings with viewings...

A follow on from the hacking draw reins thread- to combat napping/rearing advice?

Thank you some good things to be thinking about Santa_claus - I was told never ever to dismount her (and standing 16.3hh I doubt I would get back on!) but like you say if I went back and forth then re-mounted it would be her going past the place.

A follow on from the hacking draw reins thread- to combat napping/rearing advice?

Somethingorother - Yes this is another thing I have tried leading her on foot half way round a 15 minute loop then getting on, it was fine the first time as we were heading home when I got on, fab as she was going forward, but then when I tried it facing outward the next day (after walking to...
