Hi I am looking to Diy livery in any of These areas for two horses. Must have individual turnout not necessary to be all year round. Looking to move asap any help greatly appreciated
I think it is sad that a horse that has given so much to the Fletchers and has a less than orthodox style of jumping should be made to jump the puissance at 18 years of age when it should perhaps be being kept to more select classes where there is less chance of injury. Maybe its about getting...
I always get my vet out to check saddle before I buy them. Yes it is an added expense but my vet wants the saddle to fit and not cause pain whereas in my experience the saddler just wants to sell you a saddle. My vet checks them when necessary and I have never had any problem with any of them
I can't see how anyone that was there could have missed it. One person in particular nearly ripped his horses head off it was awful to see and to make matters worse it was then shown again in slow motion
Am I the only person disappointed to see showjumpers spurring their horses and yanking them in the mouth at the end of their round when the horse has made a mistake. What sort of example does it set to our young and upcoming riders? Totally unnecessary and certainly should not be seen at a...
I agree on the michael eilberg! Absolutely gorgeous, a fantastic horseman and a lovely person. Anyone fancying any of the show jumpers just needs to spend a day in their company the illusion will be well and truly destroyed!!
PS mine had five spinous processes removed (the most they had ever done at that clinic) if you would like me to contact you to discuss further please pm me
I had my 12 year old warmblood operated on some 3 years ago. I gave him six months off and did six months ground work. Both of these times were less than the recommended amount but I decided I had spent lots of money and it is quite nasty surgery so gave hima bit longer to recover. He is a...
I bought one and in my opinion think it was very expensive and did not represent good value for money. They look very flash but you can get other makes that are a lot less money and very good quality. It depends on whether you want something that is completely unique as you can design your own
I had my horse operated on at the Liphook Equine Hospital and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I had the injections initially but after a while they stopped working and after becoming completely unrideable ie me getting bucked off on a daily basis - my horse ended up having five spinal...
The girl I had from college was 24, she had worked at yards prior to going to college to obtain "formal" qualifications which was the only reason I took her as she was a bit older. Just shows what I know!!
I do the horses on the other 1.5 days as my travel is mainly weekdays. No freelancers in my area otherwise I would go down that route. Just struggling as not been in this situation before, guess I have been really lucky with my previous staff
