I always get my vet out to check saddle before I buy them. Yes it is an added expense but my vet wants the saddle to fit and not cause pain whereas in my experience the saddler just wants to sell you a saddle. My vet checks them when necessary and I have never had any problem with any of them

Spurring the horse and hauling it in the mouth was exactly what I witnessed at HOYS which is why I started this thread!

I can't see how anyone that was there could have missed it. One person in particular nearly ripped his horses head off it was awful to see and to make matters worse it was then shown again in slow motion

I agree on the michael eilberg! Absolutely gorgeous, a fantastic horseman and a lovely person. Anyone fancying any of the show jumpers just needs to spend a day in their company the illusion will be well and truly destroyed!!

I bought one and in my opinion think it was very expensive and did not represent good value for money. They look very flash but you can get other makes that are a lot less money and very good quality. It depends on whether you want something that is completely unique as you can design your own
