Those of you who fully muck out once a week.......

I use aubiose and skip out daily, remove wet twice weekly and put a new bale in once a week. My question is, those of you who do similar, do you ever let the bed run down and remove the entire bed once a year for example and replace with an entirely new bed? I've never done it but my boy...

    Hacking incident advice pls

My horse is really not the best out hacking, so I do know he has issues, he can't be hacked out in company as he just cannot cope with it for some odd reason. His 'go to' behaviour if he is put into a situation he deems difficult, schooling or hacking is to paw the ground. When I'm out...

Quite agree. I rarely see a picture where the horse and rider look even vaguely like they should do. I teach classical dressage based on absolute correct posture etc and do you think I can get any clients? No! I have found out the hard way that people do not want to spend precious time...

    Ringworm - advice pls

They sell rabbits and guinea pigs and other small rodents. No I haven't seen any evidence of ringworm, I have been googling and terrifying myself I think! I am concerned as there seems to be an incubation period where no signs are shown but they are still contagious. :(

    Ringworm - advice pls

I have just started working at a pet shop. I have been advised by a third party who does not and never has worked there but knows people who do, that they have problems with ringworm in the smaller animals and to make sure I use gloves, aprons etc when handling them. This has completely...
