Anyone stay away for competitions without a lorry?

Do any of the venues have stabling for hire? If so, you could pop your ponies in the stables and stay at a nearby B&B. Pricier but less stressful!

Thoughts pictures and experience please on Tibetan Terriers

I have a cocker spaniel and he is slightly less mad than a springer, but only just! That being said he's a year old and if he get s a decent walk (about an hour and a half) and a few playtimes a day he's good as gold! I got a Show type, working types are potentially a bit less wilful and easier...

Which general vitamin and mineral supplements do you use?

Nothing apart from seaweed meal. I use Show Ready products to improve the coat and mane and tail rather than feeding anything :)

how to improve feet, horse back from loan with bad feet

My pony had rubbish feet for years and I used to feed him linseed oil and apply Kevin Bacon's hoof grease. No improvement whatsoever! then about 18 months ago I started using cornucresine and it's made a huge difference. I also have just started feeding seaweed meal which seems to be helping!

    Supplement recommendations

Show Ready all the way! I've been using it on my boy for over a year now and have seen a massive improvement in the quality of his mane and tail. I also use Hydrate 24 on his coat and it's become so soft it's mad! Plus none of it contains any oils so it doesn't make your reins or saddle slippery :)

    In hand Showing

Make sure you look as smart as your horse! :) Also, wear trousers which contrast with the colour of your horses legs (black legs, white trousers, or black trousers for white legs) so they stand out more. Would definitely plait a warmblood but if you don't want to pull you can always just give...

Greasy Shins / Equine Cannon Keratosis

Someone once said about using Hibiscrub for this I'm sure? Although if he has sensitive skin would you be able to use that? My dog has sensitive skin so I use my horse shampoo on his (Show Ready), it has all the ingredients on so you know what you're using. May be worth looking into if you have...

White legs and no stable - showing prep tips, share!

I have a grey and in winter when it's muddy I use my detangler/polisher from Show Ready on his legs- as soon as the mud is dry it brushes straight off without a trace! They also do a dry wash system called hydrate 24 which might be good for you if you don't have access to water?
