Warmblood type can encompass soo many things....dressage, eventing, jumping, showing? What is it you are aiming to breed? All the above listed are pure dressage horses so they wouldn't be a whole lot of use if you wanted to breed a pure jumper say (generalising here as I know they CAN jump but...
Both super stallions but very different types. It also depends on what type of semen you need as I believe Argento is only available frozen and Typhoon's semen I have been told is not the best quality.
Why not, instead of rushing to find potentially unsuitable mares, send your stallion of to a centre and have some semen collected and frozen. That way you would have a store there to use whenever you desired .
Ramiro B is a super stallion and throws stock with consistent temperaments and ability. I wouldn't say they are 'pretty' youngsters but grow into v smart horses.
Without seeing your mare another I would highly recommend is El Thuder. Grade A himself he has had a quiet last year as had colic...
Awww naughty Bea! You will def be able to keep track of things with her and as SF says live vicariously through her new babies not to mention you may well have Kitty carrying her line on for you one day considering she is only off on loan!
I suppose it also depends on your plans for baby...by the time it is born hopefully Sula will be 3* so that would be a huge bonus to have a foal by him in one of is first years at proper stud just as he is hitting the highs...but then again Revs progeny will be hopefully doing more by then too.
Yeah poor Sula was out for a bit but I believe he is now starting fitness work again so maybe go and visit him?? Both of them have exemplary temperaments. If XC is your mare' weak point I would personally suggest Sula as he is one of the boldest XC horses I have seen in a while but not manic...
It would imo come down to personal preference and which on comparing to your mare suits her better..... As you say Rev has progeny on the ground along with a record whilst Sula is just really starting the stud side of his career. I would say that of the two of them Sula is probably the better...
Well it's been a while since I have done a post on here but what better way to return than with baby pics!! This week saw my first foal for a couple year born and oh I am so so thrilled and in love with him! He is by the effervescent H Tobago and out of my graded Trakehner mare Holme Park...
I would echo H Tobago for definite - his stock are incredibly consistent and he himself is just awesome - I have one due to him out of a Trakehner mare in April. One other slightly different suggestion would be the Trakehner stallion Craig....he is just one of the most beautiful horses I have...
No Pulborough Stud and EC are different - the EC USED to be based at the place where Pulborough Stud is now and when they moved they kept the same name. Pulborough Stud is owned by a lady called Leigh Kerr - I believe she is on here sometimes - and has the cremello TB stallion Electrum...
