Definitely love having them at home and would never go back to livery if I can ever help it.
Yes, there is always something to do. But isn't there always in life? Totally agree about a previous poster saying that it really is a lifestyle. It is and I love it. I've made connections with local...
I'd imagine it would sell better if you had the planning permission. Depending on your local council and if you're happy to submit the application in yourself, but should cost about £400.00. You will need to provide drawings etc...
Looking at having 5 installed but wanted to keep costs down without compromising on quality. Can anyone advise who they used? Did you install the frame work and support posts yourself? Did you use metal or timber? any suggestions and feedback is much appreciated. Thank you
Yes Milliepops, the maintenance is really low on the Flexiride and I think your right about using a roller type leveller. I also thought about using the small chain harrows upside down so as not to fluff it up.

Milliepops, I think I'm in need of one of those pep talks! Can I order one by any chance? Lol.

I'm DIY and I feed mine at 6.45am when I arrive. Then at 7am one horse goes on walker while I start mucking out. Then ride, then turnout , then finish mucking out, do haynets ready for evening. I have a groom that I employ who brings in for me 5 days a week. In the afternoon I go back, lunge...
So going back to the OP question, may I suggest Copra. It's low sugar, low starch, great for energy and condition. You can feed as little as 100grams or more. It's considered a straight feed and I've had great results with it on a couple of different types of horses.
