Hi I am currently looking at taking my progressive rider's test 5 and 6. I have to canter without stirrups. What are sticky bum jodphurs like? Are they worth it? Will they help me stay on? Also are there any disadvantages with them? I like jumping so will they hinder that? Many thanks

Am considering purchasing my son a pair so that he stays a bit dryer when riding. Any recommendations or comments on them? He currently rides in half chaps that help him grip. Do full chaps have grippy material? Many thanks
