Never considered ERS pellets, he's only in light work and we do Showing twice a month and schooling 2/3 times weekly so don't want anything that will send him in to orbit! Are they useful for weight gain? :)
TB has suddenly decided to stop eating his Solution Mash  it's been suggested to me to try Thirds (knows as Sharps/Wheatfeed) or Coolstance Corpa Meal. Feeding to gain weight.
Has anyone tried them and what are your experiences?
(Also doesn't Thirds need to be fed with Limestone...
I use Saddles Direct, brilliant service and have plenty of second hand and new saddles in :) the fitter is ace too, really takes her time and doesn't sell you anything that you don't need/doesn't fit. I rung Village Sadderly and found them quite rude..they asked what my price range was and I...
Ended up buying this one, it was on sale at Robinsons, RRP of £210, got it for £96.99 ;) I had to buy it a size up, but that's no worries! Should fit fine :)
Sounds lovely Polo! I love Blue Tweed, think it really stands out in the ring :)
Looks absolutely fine to me :) well done! I compete in the ROR classes with my fella, he's naturally a bit of a chunk, but my god some of the horses that walk into the ring don't even look like TB's. More like HW hunters, needless to say, the judges love them. Despite them heaving in the canter...
Hi all!
Looking into buying a new tweed jacket for Showing, the only I have currently is driving my matching OCD mad (grey tweed, navy collar and custom made bottle green show hat).
I have decided on this jacket...
Probably already have in a Tesco burger :D
(Don't tell me you didn't see this coming!)
But I would give it a try (knowing full well it was horse meat).
So after a month of feeling like everything was going backwards for me and Tag, an awful show last month with some rude comments from the judge dismissing us from the showing discipline and telling me "not to bother showing him" we taken him to Festival Of Champions on Saturday. Apprehensive...
Just noticed my stupid auto-correct changed the spelling of Poultice to Poulitce, brilliant :D
That sounds awful wyrdsister, I hope she makes a swift recovery!
My pony had a piece of glass cut out of his sole a few years ago by the farrier, surprisingly didn't end up lame. Hopefully my fella...
Thank you for the reassurance guys, I just don't know what to expect as I've never dealt with a puncture wound in the hoof before so it just feels like a waiting game!
My TB was absolutely dire when I got him, he was given a body condition score of 1/2 (and that was pushing it) but we tried everything and he only got to a certain point and stopped putting anything on. We found ReadyMash Soultion Mash worked wonders for him (made for horses with starch and...
Picked my fellas feet last night (funnily enough on april fools day) to see he had a nail stuck in his hoof :( it was lodged about half an inch in, near where a shoeing nail would go.
Thankfully it was quite loose and fell out with a slight bit of pressure. Didn't have anything to poulitce with...
