    Is this taking the pee..

Well I'd like to think not but I suppose it's possible :/ I massively doubt it as class the YO as a friend but I suppose I've inadvertently opened that up as 'oh she won't mind' luckily I have found a good friend who is more than happy to do jobs in return for riding so hopefully this will no...

    Is this taking the pee..

Hi all Bit of an essay I'm sorry. Recently I changed jobs however my horses are at my old place of work on DIY liver with paid for services if I choose (staff permitting). Whilst I was still there (predominantly a riding school as income) my horses went through the vetting as few of my...

    Mosquito nest in stable?!

That is amazing pedantic! I do feel like flaming them! I think I'll tey bug spray first tomorrow along with full on cobweb attack then pressure wash if that doesn't work! Only deep cleaned not long ago so rather perplexed as it just seems to be one stable! Arghhh.

Stopping field hierarchy from turning into bad manners.

I never treat in the field due to this! Greedy mare and would result in kicking and fighting, so lady like! I'd pop the treats on his hay or in feed or bring in for a groom n treats if time and scratches and a hello in the field! Sometimes hitting the scratchy bit beats any Apple 😂

Would you ever say this to a farrier?

I like my horses to be in and ready before farrier arrives, if he's early I am always embarrassed as he to will just go and get one and start with no fuss! I'd never ask I'd be to embarrassed! I did however ask him if he minded popping one back last time as I had to go back to work, however that...

Working Livery - good, bad? costs, fees, contracts?

I ventured into this at a yard I work at today! As staff I have livery, everyone has always been respectful and on a wim my horses went through the vetting this week as a 'well it won't cost me and could be useful or I may never use it' school of thought. I choose if and when my horses are used...

Someone Wants To Ride My Pony

I'm in the no camp and would be annoyed that I was approached in this situation. If you were looking for extra work for pony fair play, however sounds like you are doing plenty of riding, the horse is new to you and frankly why should you fork out all the costs of having a horse for someone else...
