    Pictures Super Sidesaddle Saturday!

You both look lovely. For me it was kind of addictive. I used to do it and regularly a few years ago and had a great instructor. I thought jumping was fantastic. Now I've got my own place and space again, I'm on the lookout for a horse that will also be comfortable with side saddle. The side...

Odd things you’ve found in a field

A Hamster, in it's cage, complete with Pets At Home receipt. It's water bottle was empty though. We called it Lucky.

Where in the country to live

Oh not yet...he is pricing up electric bikes though for the hills. He seems to think 'We' will be cycling to the coast on a regular basis and it will be a 'lovely thing to do together'...I have nodded but kept quiet, hoping it will be forgotten about.

Where in the country to live

Thanks Windand Rain, I am so excited. Will need to connect with the community as well. Hope to see you around most definitely. We are going to be on the outskirts of Caistor, you probably know the place on the Nettleton Road. I thought it was flat and windy until I found out about the...

Where in the country to live

We're in the same boat and just completing on a place in the Caistor area of Lincolnshire. It's is the Lincolnshire Wolds (who knew Lincolnshire had hills haha) and a designated area of Natural Beauty, like the Chilterns. It is about 30 mins from the seaside. The property we are buying has 6.5...

AAD and how do you view the section?

Thankyou Alex and Cinnamontoast. Cinnamontoast Agree, even to me the motivation and the types coming out of current crossbreeding makes uncomfortable reading. Alex - Yes the tails are lethal, cups, glasses, eyes all can be in the danger-zone and the bounce, well that is more like Tigger...

AAD and how do you view the section?

I don't post as regularly as I like as I own, and have bred a litter of multi-generational Labradoodles, from health checked parents, grand-parents, going backwards to origin. To many on here, and it is my perception from the posts I have read, I am some money grabbing back yard breeder, puppy...

    Such a shock.

Very sorry to hear your news, you are doing the hardest and the most difficult thing anyone can do for their beloved dog but it is the right thing. The trip to and from the Vets is so hard. I wonder, would your vet come out and send her to her rest in the comfort of her home and bed?

What on earth is wrong with people?

I hope people remember her name and her face. She is a monster.

Where are all the missing microchipped dogs?

Our Vet always checks the chip against our records. I wonder if it didn't and we didn't have an acceptable explanation whether they would check the lost dogs register or missing dogs lists and if they found it was a 'stolen' 'lost' dog, whether they would hold it?

    For those who miss riding...

Haha, just need to tie some string to the handlebars, like I used to, for reins and you're sorted.

    Thought provoking article.

I have seen this doing the rounds on facebook for a number of years now just adapted in different forms, wording slightly different dependent on 'breed type' and if the poster is in the US or the UK. The principle applies tho' too many people take animals on without understanding the commitment...
