Is it the same time of night each time? I would just 'turn up' and refill his net so they see that you know then the camera issues never have to come to light IF you are on dodgy ground....I would be furious with them!

I have never understood the derogatory term 'happy hacker' - I did a bit of everything on my first horse, but hacking was his thing - he is now retired and so flat work up and down the road is all he does...

its a little odd though, if its an abcess then you would think the bute would help to take the mask the pain - but of course the issue is that it may not burst...would want the vet and farrier out - can you x-ray on site?
this is exactly what I was going to say...my old git stops drinking too, and when we get to minus 10 and below the apple juice works, plus I add heavy mineral oil to his feed (always salt ) and make that sloppier too...
