And there it is, thankyou maestro, factual answers about the dam of your stallion AND a realistic response about the age of his progeny and where they are.
"this coupled with exceptional movement and a brave and trainable temperament can surely make them suitable as eventing sires?"
Not really. That's just opinion and you own them, so what else would you say? What evidence is there that they are brave? And exceptional movement? In who's...
Perhaps it would just be better if admin simply banned "which stallion" threads, they are what cause the real problems on this board, nothing else. Very little fact ever finds its way on here like scores from stallion gradings and so on. A serious stallion owner would be punting for business...
James Mead and Event Rider 23: One day you will have to realise that just because people have a different opinion to you does not make them Ken Rehill and it does not make them wrong.
I find it amazing that you cannot believe anyone else on this forum should have an opinion that does not...
"as you will note when I have recommended them it has been as event sires" - perhaps in the future when you recommend a stallion you could provide some kind of evidence to suggest the suitability of a particular stallion to be an event sire: grading results, competition results, successful...
"do know quite a few and would only recommend one if I felt it the right one for the right mare. I also only usually recommend stallions whose offspring I have seen personally out of several different types of mare"
and
"have become friends with stallion owners through using the stallions...
I know that he's neither trak or tb, but Flipper d'Elle has two kids in the top 1000 in the world eventing rankings and AND he's only 15,2hh.

"His mother won medals on her dressage score" - which medals?
Does Weston Justice have any progeny ranked in the top 1000 eventers in the world?
How many years has he been at stud?
So why not take a chance on a young and incredibly promising stallion if he suits - because thats probably not how British breeding is going to progress. Its not the responsibility of mare owners in this country to use their mare uteruses as test beds for unproven stallions.
I would go...
Well, the rumours running around for the last couple of months are that jamesmeade is a well known stallion owner who has another identity on this forum.
eventrider23, do you work for Brendon stud or something? You were seen at the Hartpury parade wearing their jacket and handling the stallions, so what's your connection, because you recommend their stallions for just about every mare looking for a stallion, regardless of suitability.
Set Adrift at Woodlander stud - real mover, seriously atheltic and a cracking pedigree.................OK, any successful progeny?
King of the Hill II..........has a lot of retireds and eliminateds, any successful offspring?
Set Adrift...............a quote from a web site with him...
"I worried that Grafenstolz's feet werent perfect?? So worried about getting this right.... "
Another HHO faux factoid, do you see how this happens? One person makes a comment and in seconds it becomes fact. As I said on here a few weeks ago, wasn't he approved by 13 different major stud...
