Condition and conformation pics of both the boys

I think they both look very well, if you are near any hills then hill work and perhaps lunging in a Pessoa. My boy has a terrible bottom which has marginally improved doing this. But I do agree with the others I wish my boy looked ad well as yours.

Ever had one of those days ...

Yes I have lots of days like this, however as someone once said to me if you know where you are going wrong then you can do something about it!! I do Pilates now and it's helped me with all those issues. My job permanently desk bound caused my issues! Chin up.

    Idiot's guide to breastplates

Hi, I have a simple hunting breast plate and use the straps as a grab strap if I need to. May be less of a faf for you I never use an over girth but maybe that's a bit silly of me.

    Advice on horse boots

Thanks for all the advice and help sorry for the delayed replies. The swelling was localised around the fetlock joints and he was very slightly lame so I have had him in for a few days, cold hosed and upped his joint supplement. Swellings have now gone, he has never had anything like it...

They are great I use them but download from the main website as the ones from the hub only work when the app is open and it means your phone stays unlocked.

    Advice on horse boots

I am looking for some boots to use whilst dressage training my horse. I have started doing lateral work and I think he has knocked himself as both his front legs and hind legs have swollen. It may be coincidence but wondering what other people use or if I should just stick to good old...

stiffness in back and back legs?

Sounds reasonably exactly what I pay for my Mctimoney practitioner. It was the best money I invested in my horse who was dragging his toes and had tension in his back. Good luck.

    Re~schooling

I would try TTeam work it helps build trust in a kind way and no real fancy gadgets needed. Work on lunge work and long lining sounds like a great idea and if tension creeps in go back to what is comfortable to you both. If you feel it may help try a calmer in feed. I helped my friend...

My horse had a similar issue. I was told walk work long and low for 6 weeks and lunge work in walk with a Pessoa and long lining again all in walk. After this I then gradually introduced trot doing all of the above for four weeks before then introducing canter work. I also twice a...
