Was looking at buying some rubber mats for my stables off eBay. Why thickness is the best and would they need glueing down ? Are they any good off eBay ??
If you are going for the dog bone rubber pavers, you could put a small sprinkling of sand on them, just for a little bit of "give". The old yard that I used to be at had a old monarch walker that just keeps going, they had rubber pavers that monarch fitted, did a great job I think that the same...
Well whenever I spend a large amount of money, I like to make sure that the company is safe and sound. So I always like to do a credit check with companies. house. But that's just me. There are such a lot of companies trading with very little credit.
I would agree with pippin79. A friend of mine had issues earlier in the year, they also had a look at loddon as well, but there accounts made for some interesting reading, so she steered clear from them.

I have spent a lot of time in Ireland and seen some states, however wood chips is a no no. Especially with out a roof, horses will get mud fever. Anything with a loose surface will always require maintenance. Worked on a lot of yards over there they seem to use the dog bone pavers, maintenance...
Your so lucky, as you say most horses would be jumping out of their skin. That's one reason why I removed all the barb wire.
