    EDT Recommendations in Cheshire

Have moved yards and it's too far for my dentist to travel. She's recommended either Craig Griffiths, Jake Patterson or Chris Lee. Have Googled reviews but none the wiser. Anyone had any experiences/recommend any of these three?? Horse is based near Manchester airport if that's a...

    Fly bites on mare's undercarriage

Thanks for everyone's great advice I ended up slapping a load of cheap Vaseline on (£1 a tub from the cheap shop) and that seems to be working great as flies can't get at her skin. Will definitely check out some of the other suggestions too. Thank you!

    Keratex: using whilst pregnant?

She's barefoot and I'm bringing her back into work (walking out and lunging/free schooling). Farrier mentioned feet a bit bruised. She's had the winter off and have used it before.

    Fly bites on mare's undercarriage

Every year my mare gets eaten alive by flies on her undercarriage. A normal fly rug would not help this as the area would still be exposed. I use PowerPhazer gel which works to an extent but still not fully. The flies bites and draw blood. They tend to be small black ones that attach on there. I...

    hardening hooves

Keratex hoof hardener made a noticeable difference to my mare's feet. First week, you paint it on the sole (but not the frog) every day and then twice weekly going forward. A £27 bottle lasts me about 5 months. Make sure you buy some disposable latex gloves though to apply as it contains...

    Welsh D Bloodlines

Fantastic reading all these post from such knowledgeable people on the Welsh breed. This is my section C's pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/glanvyrnwy+ffion Would anyone be able to tell me about it? She's a real old fashioned type and such a great, all-round mare. She's definitely Welsh...

    Too tall for ponies?

I'm 5'3", weigh 10.5 st and have a 14hh section c (I know officially Should upgrade her to a D) who weights 450kg. She's a real old fashioned type and is as wide as she is tall. Opinions on me riding her? I'm a bit of a worrier!

    Keeping Horses in Denmark

In the very early stages of considering a move to Denmark and wondered if anyone on here had experience of this? Are there livery yards? What are the differences between keeping horses here and over there? Any insight would be greatly appreciated 😊

    Stabling to 24/7 Turnout

She keeps weight on very well and I would describe her a a very good-doer. She doesn't suffer from mud rash, only mite scabs on the back of her knees (malanders). I would probably clip but not full like she is now. There are two basic stables where I'm considering if she was ill. HashRouge...
