    Antill Spring Seat Saddle

All I can say is that my saddle fits my horse who has been working happily in it for several years. Obviously the OP has to ensure that the saddle being considered will fit their horse.

    Antill Spring Seat Saddle

I have an Anthill saddle bought second hand a few years ago which had not been given a great deal of use. It's a well made and comfortable saddle in decent condition, and, of course, fits the horse. The fact that it's old doesn't matter.

    Ugly Dressage

I used to be quite interested in dressage as a demonstration of harmony and understanding in the an affectionate relationship between horse and rider. I have just been watching the dressage from the London International Horse Show, available on the BBC, having not seen it for several years...

    Coping with rising costs

Heygates feeds are perfectly good and more reasonably priced, and the supplements and additives that everyone seems persuaded to buy are just not needed by the vast majority of horses. It seems odd that many owners who are worried about their horses eating too much and getting fat are...

    Dales, Fells, Highlands

Have had both Dales and Fells, both nice, strong, robust and healthy and with good temperaments, like all horses they need fair and firm handling to ensure easy management and good behaviour.

Is asking to use a ménage rude or ok?

The owner of a school might be concerned that if e.g. your horse tripped and you had an accident as a result, you might make a claim off them, and they most likely will not have insurance to cover that eventuality, so they may be unwilling to loan it on those grounds

Magnesium - the myths and reality

Chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants, contains magnesium, so if horses are eating grass, or dried grass in the form of hay, they are receiving a natural source of the element.

    How much do you think?

Sounds quite straight, just needs time spending, I think quite a bit more than £500 in the current market.

Dressage Interesting study on conflict behaviours in dressage horses and scores

Locking a horse's mouth shut is inhumane and should be banned and there is something wrong with an equestrian discipline that necessitates it.
