I recently had my 6 year old ex stud dog neutered and he's been absolutely fine. It hasn't changed his personality as such but has just taken the edge off him. I have an entire bitch too so it was necessary to get him done. She has just had a season and he was still interested but nowhere near...
I haven't read all of the replies but I just wanted to share two websites that may be of interest: http://www.dogsbite.org and http://www.daxtonsfriends.com
These are both American websites and having read the vast majority of victim case studies it would appear that in many cases the pit bulls...
To be honest I would steer your friend away from Welshies! If she's nervous then it will likely be a mismatch and she will want rid once her confidence is dented. Of the other two you posted, I would say no to the first one as it has what looks like, a tall strong man on board. The second one...
I don't think a Welsh pony and a nervous rider would be a good partnership. Of course there is always the exception but looking at the video, she looks strong in the school, especially in canter and green when jumping. She did look a nice hack though.
I would advise your friend to keep looking...
You should definitely consider doing this! Or alternatively chuck a bucket of water out of the upstairs window next time.
I cannot believe that people allow their offspring to behave like this, it's disgusting. Those children sound beyond vile, you poor thing having to live next door to them. I...
If the OP had told the girl to b"gger off on day one then I could perhaps see the point of AmyMay et al but I find the numerous suggestions that she is 'mean spirited' 'unkind' 'unfriendly' and whatever else has been banded about, quite frankly, ridiculous.
Over the past few weeks the OP has been friendly, answered a barrage of questions day after day and more than indulged this child so I think your comment is somewhat inaccurate. If you feel that there is nothing left to discuss then by all means, go and impart your wisdom on another thread.
I haven't read all of the replies but just because she's horse mad, that's really not your problem! You have been accommodating and polite thus far and perhaps her parents or grandparents should indulge her obvious interest in horses by taking her to a riding school.
If she had come over to...
Thank you, yes it's an exciting prospect. Due to a recent change in circumstances I am in a position that I can afford something of this calibre (I was previously was in the market for a 10k dressage horse) but have been desperate to get back into eventing and I just want an out and out...
I did mean you, yes :) you're too modest! As someone else mentioned, I just thought it was a peculiar choice of video to show her off. You're right, I need to ask for a recent video and compare the two. To be honest I don't think I would want to go and see her on the basis of that video, I know...
