Interesting! I didn't dare drive mine in 4x4 on the roadd and stopped to put it in 4x4 but it wasn't a shogun.

I am worried for those people who are leaving their car in 4x4 or towing on a road in 4x4 I think you need to read your car manual. Admittedly mine was not a shogun but my manual said don't drive over 40mph in 4x4 and on a road towing you don't need it. It's only for difficult driving conditions.

I had a kia sorento 59 2009 automatic xe which had a 3.5 tonne towing capacity. You need to check the year and model carefully as the towing capacity changes as does the tax you pay mine was £540!
