Thanks CParker
Not the prettiest pics of me :o but my mare's face is so cute. So glad you can see how she is calming down as she isn't over jumping now, which often made me really unbalanced. You can also see the offending fence where I got too close :eek...
Maybe you have looked at this hoping to see pics from Easton College but I don't know who was taking the pics so no links sorry. If anyone does know, that would be really nice to hear :D
But I have a link to Forest Edge 1.15 class where we were double clear but not placed :(...
I'm really impatient as a person Supanova and because I work full time and have two horses in competition I try my hardest to be competitive as an amateur against professionals and so demand so much from myself and the horses. That is my issue and she made that very clear :o. I am trying really...
Supanova, I don't mind saying at all. She started napping. Not any particular place int the arena but would start the course then come to a stand still and not move. I was horrified as never had a nappy horse before. It was down to competition anxiety and other issues such as not happy with the...
Thanks for your feedback peeps. Think it will be Pikeur then as Spooks jacket may look like I'm trying to look 21 again :p
Lolo, I was shivering but amazing how you warm-up after a good round :D.
And yes I'm a regular to both, but only during the winter as try to compete at county shows over...
Hi,
Not been a lot of comp reports about so I thought I would share :D
Went off to Forest edge last Friday with my mare who I have had a couple of issues with. We now jump in a snaffle, no spurs and with the help from a new trainer, and a friend who is natural healer, we have a very happy...
Congrats and bet you were at Herringswell rather than at Walsham, the ground is amazing there. Barrett is great for jumping courses and horse and rider confidence.
I keep telling myself not long till spring :D
Next time we want pics as I saw your mare when you had a LouiseM lesson but...
Is it bad that I semi hope it won't be too busy:o. I will be interested to see how big the warm-up now is (they said it has been extended), as with the foul weather tonight I won't be too keen to warm-up on the grass like I normally do. Please tell the rain to leave us alone, as cold is bad...
I know, this time of year isn't easy and I'm only competing one as the thought of competing two on my own is too stressfull. I did it last winter and never again! My Mum promises to help with warm-up fences which is only if i can get her out of the cafe :p
Anyone going? I know we must be mad - especially looking at the weather:eek:
But I'm just trying out a new warm-up and brakes with my mare so doing the 1.05 and then 1.15 on Friday. Then hope to go back for the 1.20 on the Saturday.
What are other people planning on doing? Other than...
Yes please do PM me as I know of at least 4 others who are either currently having lessons with her or are looking to. Also just to make you giggle about the size of the arena my sisters horse does not like small spaces and we could imagine if she had been in there it would have been the 'wall...
