Curious - How many homes/owners has your horse had ?

Only one horse here but before I bought her she had 4 owners in 1 year (very quirky) and she was 7 at that point, but prior to that I think only 2 other owners so I'm owner number 7 and I've had her 5 years and she's going nowhere.

    solo trailer loading

Well done!! I had this same query a few weeks back and get very little response so I feel the need to comment on this. The turning in the trailer is the only thing to work with my horse and was very worried that it was not the done thing. But after posing the question on a certain eventing FB...

Thank you he's abit far away for me, I have used Dan Wilson with great success with the equi-trek trailer but that was like loading into a lorry for her. It might be time to call him in again as I want to get her out competing again now she's all healed up.

I can get her to load with me stood at the top of the ramp and I can slowly move the bar on the ground but the second I lift it she's back like a shot.

    Experience with brewers yeast ?

I feed brewers yeast daily as was recommended it to settle my mares belly (not ulcers) as she would poo until it ran out of her on hacks. I call it her anxiety belly when she gets wound up. Never heard it being used for skin and coat but i feed oil as well and she's in fab condition. She can be...

    Hanging cheek snaffle (or Baucher)

When I bought my mare she was in a hanging cheek snaffle but didn't take a blind bit of notice of it. I have now got her in a turtle top loose ring snaffle and she still has her moments but all in all she goes really well in it. I would never jump or cross country her in it as I wouldn't feel...

    Disgusting Behaviour

As a kid, I would never have thought of this type of behaviour as even any where close to being acceptable. Also as a animal lover I'm equally infuriated that this being done to animals. I hope they are found and suitably punished, but in this day and age they will get a slap on the wrists for...

    Major Advice Needed (WWYD)

Thanks Guys, I did all the right things and I did tell the owner all the facts but I think it was more frustration that I needed to get out, with the sharer causing this and not actually giving a s*** just wanting to ride. The owner does not trust the sharer to have full responsibility of...

Not sure if I have done the link correctly, but this is disgusting and unnecessary in this day and age. http://http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4127336/Father-son-ride-horse-bonfire-Spain.html

    Horse Camp - Opinions Please

I'm not sure where you are based but Stockland Lovell in Bridgewater do fantastic camps throughout the year. As I live in Cornwall and it's abit of a trek to get there I always do the 5 day one. It was £360 this year which included 6 lessons, entry on a fun ride, unlimited hay/haylage, bedding...
