I'd suggest wherever you advertise, pay them (I.e someone who makes a living out of it) and ask for references. I didn't, and now my mare has a torn check ligament, and 6 months off work. Hope you find someone good, be very picky!!!

I think much second hand stuff is sold on Facebook, preloved and eBay - those would be your competition. You would need to offer something that those sites don't, like no quibble returns, try before you buy etc.
