I agree with thank goodness for mothers!
I don't know how I would cope without mine, although she has never even sat on a horse! She still runs me half way around the country and back 3/4 days a week and helps me pay for it all!
Couldn't cope without her!
Why just behind for dressage? Don't mean that in a negative way! It's just I have an event next week for the first time *eep* and would love to know what options would be best for my horsey! Dressage is the one I am most worried about!
Good morning all!
Just wanting to get a general idea on how beneficial people think studs actually are?
I've heard both sides recently -
1. They give the horse grip hence positive
2. They make the hoof static, so not giving free range of movement when riding hence negative
What do...
Thanks for your input guys :)
I just hate the fact I can't go out and aim for a certain score to try and place if you know what I mean? For example, SJ I go out and aim for a double clear with a fast time to try and place! Not quite so easy in dressage haha
Depends on your horse!
I have three horses that I compete SJ, and never really jump at home! We only hack/flatwork at home and then jump at competitions, except if we are working on something like speed rounds, skinnys etc :p
Aww serious? That's hardly fair, we've had a judge snigger once when I smiled after my test as I was pretty pleased! Apparently not everyone appreciates enjoying it haha
I know everyone has their own personal "good" scores, I'm happy if I'm at 65% :p
But what would you classify as a good score?
For example, in school 80% = A, 70% = B etc, so you always know how your doing!
However, since dressage competitions can vary greatly depending on who's...
Ahh seriously?! How's she going?! They mentioned a couple of weeks ago about her coming back! :( Think she was being a bit bold! Havn't heard from them since though :(
