Hi, I'm currently looking for black leather tall boots for competing (SJ) but there's a big problem; I have such short legs!! :'( I'm 153cm/5feet and my foot size is 4/37, and the length of my legs from heel to back of me knee is 37cm/14.5inch. All of the boots are fine with the size but catch...
No, I don't own one or anything, but I'll be loaning a thoroughbred jumper(he's an ex-racehorse) or a flat barrowed warmblood(I don't know what breed) and the reason I want it is because I'm going to be focusing on show jumping lessons and the barn doesn't have any show jumping saddles(every...
I'll hopefully getting a jumping saddle on my birthday(November), as all the horses that I ride at my barn have GP saddles(19") that are WAY too big for me!

Above is the saddle that I like, but I have a question...
I was at a local show this summer and wore chaps as I didn't have long boots. My instructor said I was allowed to wear it as I was under 16 and not allowed to after you're 16. I was wondering if gaiters are allowed then? Would u be able to wear gaiters for shows after you're 16?
What does poll pressures made by the bits do? Does it raise the horse's head from leaning in the bit? There were several people who all says different things :-(
I was just wondering what does a curb bits do? I don't get it by "levering action"... Could someone explain to me what levering means (what does the curb bit do)? And if u use the pelham with just the snaffle ring, will it be the same as hanging cheek bits? Thanks
