I have the same problem as you ponypatter, I'm just not convinced that getting to all of the hay would be possible as the nets empty, not sure if the excess net would get in the way?
When I get a new bridle I get a bottle of leather dressing and pour it into a bucket and then put the bridle (in bits) in there and leave it to soak, works a treat

TwoBays, I had exactly the the same thought about how he'd get the hay out. I've done some hunting around on the web and found a couple of websites where people have made their own which look quite good, but a lot of them still involve them having to twist thier heads...
