I’ve tried with council as have to cross a busy road that has had numerous car accidents on. They said that they couldn’t do anything and perhaps I don’t cross the road! It’s the only way out of the field! As above, they said not enough fatalities...yet x
Haha, Im a librarian so always like to sell a book or two if I can to people willing to listen!! Not many people I associate with give books the time of day, sadly. Anything with horses is a bonus! :-)
Noticed that the charity novel Rafferty Lincoln Loves... for the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre is 99p on kindle today and the proceeds go to the charity. Its a young adult/adult horsey book. Frankie Dettori writes the foreword in the novel, and his biography is 99p on kindle today too...

Agree about SAD, winter always makes me feel very down. I hate being cold and hate being wet. Think we mind the weather much more than the horses. Mine prefers being out in the rain over rugs/stables anyday. Have a nice hot bath and glass of wine :-). Soon the bluebells will come up and spring...

Oh wow, 36 years! Loving it too so hopefully I’ll be doing it for that long. I work in the children’s section and help out with readings for schools etc as well as normal desk/join up stuff. Luckily I only have a few days with the loan so it fits nicely around everything. Thank you...
Rafferty Lincoln Loves... by Emily Williams is for young adults and is much more modern. Written for a horse charity too :-). I still have my old horsey books at home which I re-read often! Love Patricia Leitch books.
