Has anyone backed a horse on their own? I mean without a helper on the ground. how did you get on / what techniques did you use?

Yes, it would be ridden, classes. it seems a shame as they are such fun classes! Do you know of any that run them regularly as I've done one and would love to do some more.

Where does everyone find their concours d'elegance classes? I really want to get into this but struggle to find classes or even know where to look in the south.

I have a lovely section D who I have been showing in hand but as a three-year-old, she is the most chilled horse ever, even making the 14y/o look fresh but for In hand classes this is not ideal. Any idea how I can get her a bit wound for the classes? Carrier bags flapping don't really phase her...

thanks for the reply. its Chiltern and Thames qualifier but I'm only really doing it for fun this time to see what its like at that level. She is very nicely clipped as it has only been done recently so its still really neat but she still has fluffy legs
