He bucked his rider off at a football match apparently lol. But YO thinks a lot of the problem was that, because he's quite short backed, the police saddles are quite long and put some weight on his loin area. Bless him, hes lovely =]

Hes an ex police horse and has passed 5* vettings. Hell just be used for hacking, bit of jumping and hunter trils. No showing or proper competing =]

Lol the vet came out to look at Mabel and looked at her teeth whilst she was there and her teeth are really bad (we havent had her lon, 3 months) and she has wolf teeth and stuff. But anyway, she was sedated as there was a lot of work and doesnt like her mouht being touched and still managed to...

Vet has used a twitch on mabel and she seemed slightly annoyed afterwards as when i went in her stable she turned away in disgust lol but the next day she came over to me like normal and seems fine. =]

Ignorant people are so annoying. We was hacking out and someone was coming with their dog and they didnt bother putting it on a lead until the last minute. People who dont slow their cars past are annoying as well. Ooft.

Ooo i havent fallen off since september so im due one so everytime i go out im a bit paranoid lol. We got mabel in november and i havent fallen off her yet and shes bigger than others ive fallen off. Does that mean it hurts more lol?

Vet came out to see mabel on Monday. Has had diaorrea for a while but hadnt lost much weight so weren't very worried. But in past few weeks lost quite a bit. Vet came out and took some tests, mentioned cancer. i was, obviously, extremly worrie. Got results last night and i a v. high tapeworm...

WHen we first bought mabel she wouldn't stand still to have her girth done up and had to be saddled up in the yard, have one person hold her whilst someone else did up her girth. She is a lot better now and some days she stands completly still. But has anyone else experienced this as we don't...

Mabel has haylage at the moment because thats wghat is supplied with our livery but, i read, that it is harvested earlier in the year, when the plants are younger, so its water content is higher. Because the palnts are younger, they are more digestible, they have higher nutritional value =]
