    Arena Lighting

Hi We live in a very rural area where there are no street lights. We have put in our planning permission for an arena with lights. However, we have had quite a few moans about the lighting. I think people assume they will be on all the time. I have tried to explain this will only be for a...

    Pony Stallions

Hi I am looking to breed from my ISH mare if she does not come sound following a ligament injury. I would like to breed a small eventer - hopefully no bigger than 15.2 - I know this cannot be guaranteed but I would to put her with a suitable event pony stallion standing about 14.2. I...

    Recipient mares

Thanks guys. What has been a very difficult decision to make has now been made harder. Gone down like a lead balloon now! Most of the people I have spoken to say their horses are very happy and looked after. I know what you're saying though thank you.

    Recipient mares

Hi everyone Looks like I'm going to have to retire my 8 year old ISH mare. She may yet be able to be a happy hacker but in case she isn't, do you know of anywhere they are taking recipient mares. I have emailed Beaufort and another one that came up on google. Is there anywhere else I can...

    Bone spavin and Tildren

It isn't good for me. I have a one year old now, maybe its a good time to think about number 2 whilst I see what we can do. I still want to compete though. Eventing is what i love, having lessons and learning is why i do it. We'll see i do agree about the shoes though

    Bone spavin and Tildren

Thank you for that. I think i will take her shoes off as she is doing nothing and it costs £60 a time, she has very good feet too. She is a competition horse though and so I need to get her back to that for me anyway. The vet said he couldn't see why she shouldn't get back to eventing again...

Did your horse just have bone spavin or did he have anything else wrong with him?

    Bone spavin and Tildren

Thank you. I rode her again tonight, there is no difference at all. I think we are going to have to retire her sadly

    Bone spavin and Tildren

Quick question. My girl has mild spavin in both hocks. She has had Tildren, vet says it take up to 6 weeks to work. It's 5 weeks today. Took her in the school on Monday, she was stiff as you can imagine after months of no schooling. She was more forward but still seemed to be dragging her back...
